Not personally, but anyway, that's straying a little to close to politics...so...
quite apart from that..there's also Maradona's Hand of God and that debacle in St. Etienne that I haven't forgiven them for.

it seems to me that some teams dont always look too good in some colour schemes. chaos would not be a good red and white, for example. so wouldnt it be a better idea to focus on teams and then choose a colour scheme to match their personality? and i go away for 3 days, what ever happened to the prison team?

I'm not really sure I understand the point of discussing af colour scheme when we haven't decided on a team yet. Let's face it, some colour schemes would work on certain teams and would look stupid on others.

Anyway, I really like the idea of doing a chaos team as the different look on the miniatures achieved by the different painters will look kind of cool on a chaos team.

Brainstorming is not a linear process. It's where you throw any and every idea you have out in the open to be discussed and noted down. To approach design from a 'achieve step 1, move on to step 2, move on to step 3' sort of a process often ends up with product which is severely flawed because not all the possibilities have been looked at.

So in my opinion discussing colour at this stage has just as much relevance as discussing race.

seeing as how we are all pretty able with this stuff, why have we dropped discussing conversion teams? why not show them all what we're good at. besides, i like reading some of the wacky ideas and then, maybe, watching them come to life.

Hands up, who has done conversions?

Was it a simple head or weapon swap or was it more?

This way we can get an idea of how many people are willing and able to do mutant chaos and/or skaven.

I'm fairly decent at conversions, but not very good at sculpting so I usually just do lots of bit swapping and reposing. I'd love to contribute a mutant for a skaven or chaos team.
