We all know how old games are. But do we play them for great graphics? No; compared to what can be done today, it sucks. But remember when you were 13, weren't thrilled just looking at the box in the shop, planing on how you could get your parents offering it to you ?

We're not saying old games suck. If we thought that, we obviously wouldn't have the underdogs page bookmarked as we do. But this game in particular actually did suck, even when it was released.

No team development, no balance, glinches, freezes, poor dialogue, where dialogue wasn't even warranted.

Few teams, bad league set up, crap AI, skills that didn't work properly. Unbalanced star players. Star Players whose main skill wasn't supported (They had a DE SP whose position was an assassin, and his skills were: Dodge. . . . oh thats it.)

No Official software support.

Yeah, other than that, it was an incredible game.

I think if you differentiate the PC game from the board game, you'll see it's an enjoyable game, even with all it's faults

Well, if you need the PC files you can find the entire game here.

You will need WinAce to extract the file.

Please keep in mind that due to copyrights you must own the game in it's original form (which I DO, thank you  ), otherwise you must delete the game from your hard drive within 24 hours.

Enjoy!

Not that anyone is probably going to make an issue over a second rate abandonware title anyway, but the above statement is not in agreement with any form of copyright law anywhere in the world that I am personally aware of.

For my protection, it is. I own the game. It is my choice where I decide to store that information. I am not selling it nor am I distributing it freely. YOU make the choice to download it. In a sense, you are downloading my property, that is in turn the intellectual property of Games Workshop.

If you play a lot of ROM's (Old NES, Atari, SNES, Genesis, ect.) games, you know that as long as you own the product in it's original form, you can alter it, destroy it, do whatever with it.

Granted, it is a fine line, and we could debate it for hours to no end. In a world where people sue (and win) for coffee that is too hot, who really knows what is legal and what isn't anymore :-?

I guess the game could be - relatively - nice if the graphics could be improved and some skills repaired.

Still I prefer board BB a lot.

Agreed :)

The PC game is nothing compared to the board game, or even Javabowl.
