Bonehead/ Really stupid roll - survey

Post by sangraal »

Hi Guys,

Just as a matter of interest, how often do your big guys fail their bonehead
(or RS) roll.

In both my league ( 5 coaches, 8 teams) & another one down in Wollongong
(city near Sydney, in Oz); Big Guys seem to fail the roll about 50% of the time, rather than the 1/6 suggested by the odds.

I had a Troll (he is dead now) that failed 4 out of his first 6 rolls in a game,
& then 2 days ago my Orge failed his first 3 in a row!!

I just had a troll be stunned and so far he has missed his very next 2 rolls to turn over.

Only ever fail when it's important they don't

Some games its :o 5 or 6 a half!

Other games its 1 or 2 times a half. I have never played a half with no failed bonehead. I kept track for a while, and I failed just over 1 in 3 over about 15 games. Pretty frustrating.

Maybe I'm a lucky one, but usually just once a half does my Big Person decide not to do anything. :)

Best,

I hope the BBRC is hearing this! Bonehead is fine! Leave it alone!

I had a game where I only failed 1 really stupid the whole time. I seem to fail a lot less than my opponents.

I just finished a game with my rookie goblin team fielding 2 trolls and I only failed my stupid roll twice.

Of course those two times were in two consecutive turns on the same troll who had picked up the ball 6 squares from the endzone. Then he was knock down in the next turn. :pissed:
I still won 3-0 though. It was a great day for the stunties.

Not quite this bad but we had a coach in our league who went to overtime and had his Ogre fail 8 overtime turns in a row and lost.
