Goblins, AV 7, +1 to Injury Roll

Post by Toby »

I think the +1 Injury part of Stunty is something that should be dropped.
Gblins are easily injured, thats why they have an AV of 7. +1 Injury Roll causes confusion because it is an additional modifier to Mighty Blow for example. It can easiliy simply be forgotten as well. I think Stunty MUST be SPLIT in 2 Things:

Short Arms (RC) -> Passing Range +1, no long bomb.
Stunty (Special) -> +1 Modifier for all dodge rolls.

(That is to dissalow Stunty Dodging for Players with Secret weapons. Secret Weapons annulate the Stunty RC right now and that is a Bug, definitly)

The injury is covered by armour.

Stunty is great the way it is...leave it alone.

The end-zone “line of death” does not discriminate when one tempts fate by using a “go for it” to pass over it.

I don't think so ... I would expect Goblins to squish more than Norse warriors .... the +1 Injury should stay.

Removing the +1 to injury from goblins will just make orc teams even stronger. Goblin teams were not created to stand a fair chance against other teams, so please don't try to change the rules. They are fine as they are.

As Galak said, Gobbos should squish easier than Norse.

Here here!!! The last thing I (or any of the leagues I run) want is a lot of flux in the rules. If something is truly broken, or unclear then by all means fix it. Other than that, I don't think the game needs THAT much change.

wow, now i'm confused... i just checked mighty blow;

wasn't there a rule that said you can only apply ONE modification. For example either Mighty Blow OR Dirty Player. (thats the part i thougt confuses stunty because stunty applies additionaly)

hope you understand what i mean :-?

You can only ever apply one skill/trait to the AV or Inj roll, but, as in the case of sttunty, the opponent has a skill which affects it to that can be applied as well.
